I have been responsible for the mechanical design of SI’s new product line. Due to increased requirements on biometric data quality, a new generation of products have been developed. The design work was successfully performed in collaboration with multiple disciplines including an Industrial designer, electronics engineer and software developers. Regulatory requirements have been considered in order to pass UL 60950 certifications. The products are currently used at the Swedish migration board and at embassies all around the globe.
